Are There Any Exclusions to the DD Perks Free Drink Reward?

What is Considered a Cooler Beverage at Dunkin?
Dunkin considers cooler beverages to be any bottled soda, juice, milk or water located in its refrigerator.
Through Dunkin’s partnership with Coca-Cola that began in 2012 (after a 5-year run serving PepsiCo products) , Dunkin offers a wide variety of soft-drinks, juices, enhanced waters and energy drinks.
However, according to a press release by industry news leader Beverage Digest, the Dunkin partnership will revert back to PepsiCo after remaining with Coca-Cola for the past 10 years. PepsiCo will take over the Dunkin account in January 2023 and Coke will remain in Dunkin locations until then.
The current selection and availability varies by location but some brands you’ll be able to find under the Coca-Cola contract include (until December 2022/January 2023):

What is Bottled Dunkin Iced Coffee? Will It Be Discontinued When Coca-Cola Contract Ends?
Dunkin’s bottled iced coffee is essentially its own ready to drink version of the Starbucks Frappuccino. Dunkin began selling the bottled iced coffee back in 2017 to capitalize on the booming ready-made coffee drink market that was becoming a cash cow for Starbucks. The Dunkin version originally came in four flavors, original, french vanilla, mocha and espresso. Its now available in an on-the go size (13.7oz) and at home size (48oz or 40oz). Bottled Dunkin Iced Coffee is available in the following flavors:
Iced Coffee On The Go Flavors
- Original
- French Vanilla
- Mocha
- Girl Scout Thin Mints
- Girl Scout S’mores
- Girl Scout Coconut Caramel
Iced Coffee At Home Flavors
- Original
- Vanilla
- Unsweetened
- Caramel
For those of you who enjoy Dunkin’s bottled iced coffee, currently produced, and distributed by Coca-Cola, don’t fret. The terms of this arrangement are handled under a separate licensing and operating deal. Coca-Cola will continue to produce and distribute bottled Dunkin Iced Coffee for the foreseeable future. Dunkin ready to drink bottled iced coffee products can be found in convenience and grocery stores, as well as Dunkin’ Donuts locations.
Ironically, PepsiCo licenses the production and distribution of Starbucks ready to drink bottled coffees. However, we find it highly unlikely that these will ever appear in Dunkin Donuts locations.
What will cooler beverages look like come January 2023? Here are some brands you can expect to find in the Dunkin’ refrigerator under the PepsiCo agreement.

Final Thoughts
The DD Perks loyalty program is one of our favorite and makes us feel good about spending our money when we have to buy coffee on-the-go. We’re constantly getting free drinks and to be honest its one of the best “cash back” programs around if you think about it in terms like that.
If you were like us and always wondered what is considered a cooler beverage at Dunkin’ Donuts we hope you found this helpful.
